Murray River Trail Running Festival
Sturt Reserve, Sturt Reserve Rd Murray Bridge. The event village is located on the lawn area in between the playground and the new million dollar skate park area with the start line next to Murray Bridge’s famous Bunyip.
Trail Long Course (30.8km)

Utilising the Lavender/Federation Trail and new Kinchina Conservation Park trails. This is an extension of last years course that does a strava KOM up to the White Hill Tower and adds on the trails in the Northern part of Kinchina Conservation Park.

This one starts in Kinchina C.P. and is a one way ticket to the finish line. A stunning run through Kinchina’s Southern Conservation Park Trails and hops onto the Lavender/Federation Trail for a fast flat finish along the river by the Bunyip.
Car pooling from Sturt Reserve to start line a short 10 minute drive away. Register your interest for a bus from the start line with firstname.lastname@example.org Briefing at 08:55am start line just off Maurice Rd at Trail head.

River Trail Fun (5.5km)
Entry $12 Kids Run Free
Run under the oldest and first bridge to span the Mighty Murray River. This fun run takes runners around the Rocky Gully wetlands loop teaming with local birdlife and pelicans. Get dressed up in your favourite costume, have some fun and kids participate for free with a participating Guardian and supervision.

Road closures will be in place for Murray Cods drive where the start line is here by the bunyip. Parking is available in the Community Club carpark and opposite in the overflow car park and along Charles Sturt Drive.
In the event village there will be plenty of entertainment for kids via the new $1,000,000 skate park and pump track and undercover playground. There will also be post race food and refreshments. The Davery coffee van will provide your early morning heart starter coffee. There will be an SA Water hydration station on hand to keep you hydrated pre and post event and the Rotary Club of Murray Bridge will be cooking their famous gourmet bbq burgers and snags. Utonic will be giving away samples of their natural energy drinks also. 11:00am. First Care Medical will be on hand to treat any injuries to runners and spectators.
Race results will be available via our @MurraylandsMultisports facebook page and posted on the website later in the week. Race presentations will commence around 30 minutes after the overall 3rd placegetter comes across the line for each distance. Medals will be awarded to place getters in male and female categories for Junior (U18) senior (60+) and Open categories.
We encourage participants to enjoy the atmosphere of the event village post their event and enjoy a burger from the Rotary BBQ where proceeds go towards the JDRF to help find a cure for Juvenile Diabetes.
